Here she is, sassy little smile and all.
It took a little bribe of some Valentines candy, but I got her to pose.
Valentines are the best, they feel like a little hug.
Nothing beats a personalized card, and with a photo it is perfection !

Today is my birthday.
As I get older my birthdays seem to be something like a double edged sword.
On the one hand I feel lucky to be here, how many people pass away with out getting to be 34 years old? Having a family with a beautiful little girl, a busy little boy, a handsome and rugged, lovingly obnoxious husband?
On the other hand I feel my youth slipping away. I was talking to a friend about something that happened when I was in high school …when I realized that was 20 years ago!
WHAT….When did that happen?
The “boys” at the grocery store and restaurants now call me ma’am.
I know it’s the natural progression on things, but it’s a hard pill to swallow..
I decided to take a birthday portrait, wow…not easy to look at my self on my 24″ monitor when I already feel sensitive about the aging process.
It was FREEZING here today.
My kids were bundled up even in the house with the heat running.
My little Beauty had a fuzzy scarf wrapped around her head.
When the last bit of warm sun came through our front door window, I grabbed my camera.
I struggle with taking pictures at night.
Grain/noise is my enemy and flash seems take the softness out of my pictures.
As I put my daughter to bed I brought my camera, pushing myself to take a night time photo.
Here she is snuggled up on her pillow and I love the grain in this case.
I love her!
I liked how this one almost looks like an abstract painting………if only I was talented enough to paint and draw!
My hubby took the kids to the gym with him Saturday morning and that left me time to explore the changing leaves.
I swear I almost blinded myself looking through a glass lens pointed at the sun, but I liked the result so much it was worth it!

How incredible are his eye lashes? This little guy is 20months old and just a doll. I had a great time chasing after him and really like how his portraits turned out!
