Hi there I am Jessica Ross a portrait photographer living and working in Denver, Colorado.

I am married to my college sweetheart and the mother of two young children. My daughter “Beauty” is 5 and my son “C”  is 8.

I have always been very passionate about family. Whether the family is made up of a new couple or a house full of kids, I love watching the way they interact and connect with each other… Almost any movie, tv show, or even commercial that includes a family scene- happy or sad -almost always brings me to tears..embarrassing but totally true.

Photography is my way of celebrating family!

I have always had a passion for photography and come from a long line of photographers. The power of a photograph made an impression on me at a very early age.  I studied photography in my free time, but pursued a degree in education.  After college I spent time my time teaching Kindergarten.  But after having my own children and staying home to raise them I found more time to devote to my real passion.. photography.  I have now decided not to go back to teaching and work with couples, children and families in a new and more creative way.

My favorite things include:  photography, yoga, pilates, hamburgers and french fries, spending time with my family, reading funny blogs, anything cherry flavored, catching up with friends, watching movies and I am totally addicted to really bad T.V.
