Lots of sun, water, relays and smiles.

We really have some of the most generous friends.

Our neighborhood has lots of fun families that we have become close with and I now consider my good friends.

A couple of them have boats and have graciously offered to share them with our family.

Memorial Day weekend we went down south to Pueblo and had a beautiful day on the water.

The kids got along great, we ate tons of junk food, zipped all around the resivour and played in the water.

We made it home with huge grins, without sunburns or major meltdowns.  In all I think it will go down as one of my most favorite family days ever!

Yes we are those people, the kind of people who enjoy looking through other people’s  junk.

C begged us to take him to the Flea Market and with no reason not to, we loaded up the car and went.

We go usually once a year and the kids LOVE it.

We perused, laughed, people watched, ate roasted corn on the cob, rode rides, aurgued about what was a good value and what was not, and the kids spent their cash.

C got some pirated game console thing with -no joke- 7,000 old video games. Thank goodness it worked when we got it home, but before he even bought it we explained to him that you take your chances buying something like that at a  flea market.

Beauty picked out a backpack with a poodle on the front—pink of-course.  It came brand new, it must have been an overstock item picked up on clearance somewhere.

Hubby and I got nothing to lug home, but left with happy hearts after a day of low cost family fun!

She is a Preschool Graduate!

Thank goodness for today’s break in the weather–

We all met at a nearby park for Preschool Graduation.

She agreed to a couple of  pictures with the hat but was NOT wearing it for the ceremony… it “messed up the her hair bow”

Then we treated her to a lunch of milkshakes &  mac and cheese -her choice ofcourse!

I have been taking game shots and not sure how to present them to the parents who have asked to purchase them.  It is hard to decide on just one or two.

I think action shots grouped together tell a better story.

These can be printed as 8″x8″ or 10″x10″ square prints, personalized with a player’s or team name.

I am ready for summer.

My kids have been asking about summer for months now.

Mother’s Day we even set up our tent in an effort to get ourselves in the mind set to go summer camping.

Then…. this morning

It’s May…really?

I know we have notoriously unpredictable weather here in Colorado, but man I am over it!
