We took the kid’s on their first ever camping trip this past weekend. It was a lot of fun, great….. friends, food, and time shared. We went with 6 other families from our hood. There were 15 kids in all, they traveled like a pack from campsite to campsite giggling and causing trouble.
We had a fantastic time and we are still doing laundry trying to get the campfire smell out of all our belongs!

We took the kids to a FREE kid’s festival this weekend called Kid’s Spree. They had a blast, free crafts, activities and entertainment galore.
You had to park at the nearby mall and take a bus over to the park. This was an added bonus as far as my kids were concerned, riding the bus is up there with riding an amusement park ride!

My mother sent these little grass pets to my kids. Took about 2 weeks to grow them, and then my darlings wanted custom hair cuts. I am sure you can guess whose is whose.
Do you love the name the kitty came with ? I chuckle every time I hear my daughter and son say it! Here I am 33 years old and still giggling at dirty words 
My son, like his father, is fearless on the diving board. He hurls himself into the air and the bigger the splash the better.
This is the same pool where my sister, my brother and I spent HOURS of our summer. It’s fun to see it come full circle and sit in the same shade with my kids that I once sat in with my own mother.

Indy had been asking me for a mohawk. I agreed to do it for the summer. He has had fun with all the added attention, promising to go back to a more clean cut look for the school year.
I actually kind of like it…don’t tell him though. I’m pretty sure he thinks it’s cool because it’s rebellious.
Hair is hair it grows back.
I love his snaggle tooth grin, it adds to the look don’t you think! Soon enough his mouth will be full of grown up teeth and he will begin the awkward transformation we all go through till we start to resemble our adult selves. I say celebrate this milestone with pictures.

How incredible are his eye lashes? This little guy is 20months old and just a doll. I had a great time chasing after him and really like how his portraits turned out!

My little Beauty had her dance recital, she was great. She loves to be on stage and wear costumes, you can just see how thrilled she is in her smile!
