In True Beauty fashion, when she is on she is on. As her dance teacher put it “She definitely has a personality, when focused she does a fantastic job” That is code for she does what she wants when she wants. Some might say she is strong willed, I like to think of her as determined!
Indy is growing up, he is moving into that toothy look as his baby teeth fall out and the adult ones are coming in. Last night his first front tooth came out! Losing a front tooth is a big deal. I was sad that I was at work when it happened, but he waited to go to bed until I got home so he could show me. Now I know how my hubby feels when he misses something while he was at work, no fun.

Here is my little Beauty after 3 separate Easter celebrations on Sunday. I think this picture of her in the car exemplifies how we all felt after another marathon holiday ….. sometimes it’s a little too much of a good thing. Notice even in her sleep she still clutches her Easter basket full of loot.
Okay so I am totally that chick who brought her yoga mat on vacation with her. And I am glad I did, this was a overcast day full of muted colors that really added to the relaxed beach scene. It was perfect for doing yoga.
Now when I am at the gym, I can lay on my mat and think about how relaxed the two of us were at the beach that day. By two of us I am talking about me and my mat. Yes I have bonded with my mat, so lame I know. But it really helps take me back to that place during my practice.
I tend to get anxious and restless, something common for the women in my family. Yoga really helps to bring me back from that scattered and frantic feeling the anxiety brings on. For that I love YOGA and my big blue mat!
As bright and sunny as Cozumel was I was drawn to this dark flower in the shade. I loved how it seemed be cool in such a tropical climate. I guess it speaks to my need to find a cool shady spot when things heat up around me.
It was nice to have a chance to spend time with her as my Mom and not have to share her as Nana. Pictures of her at the beach always seem to be my favorite, she looks so at home

I just wish he was always this relaxed . We were sitting out on our balcony in Mexico taking in the tropical scenery for a last time before we were to leave.

I can’t believe it was just last week I was in Mexico. Now I am at home watching it snow…I want to go back!
