When I do yoga I really like the arm balances. They make me feel strong and like I have accomplished something. I have the regular crane pose down, but my new goal is get this side crane.

Indy spent most of the evening making this portrait of himself wearing a Bionicle mask (for those not in the know, a Bionicle is a robot type guy created by Legos)
The first picture is of the front of him and the second picture……. is on the back of his self portrait and shows the back of his head in the mask ofcourse!
I told him it was very detailed and that he is a very good artist.

My little Beauty got her hair cut. After many battles over brushing and styling, we decided to have it cut to a more manageable length. She looks so sweet, it really compliments her beautiful face.
She is so proud of it and says it feels so soft!

I just got back from a trip visiting my little sister in Boston.
She is 8 months pregnant with her first child, my little nephew. They call him “the little monkey in her belly”
She looks great and was worthy of many photos! I had fun doing them and I hope she likes them!

I made these cute monkey cupcakes for my sister’s monkey themed baby shower. They were super easy and tasted great.
You just need chocolate cupcakes, chocolate frosting, vanilla wafers, mini nutter butters split in half, and black and red frosting.

This is the outfit Beauty dressed herself in to watch her brother ride his bike for the first time. Perfect for January, right?
As a snapped pictures of Indy on his bike, my neighbors were cracking up at something behind me. I turned around and saw Beauty had redressed herself.
She is trouble!

He did it! He took off those training wheels and learned to ride his bike. It was a beautiful day here in the 60′s even though it was January. A perfect day for a little boy to drag out his bike and get serious
We tried many times before and it always ended in tears with him swearing he didn’t need a bike. This time was different , he actually asked to try. Since it was his idea, it only took 30mins of Mom’s help for him to get the balance right. I was so proud as I hung on to the back of the seat and could tell he no longer needed me for balance. Now he just needs to learn how to stop with out diving off
It’s so funny, but he feels a little more grown up to me now. It’s a big milestone! Now he is one of those kids who will be cruising around the neighborhood on nice afternoons looking for his friends outside to play with. I swear I can still remember doing the same thing on my purple bike The Dessert Rose. Where has the time gone?
